Valve Maintenance Program |

Paducah Water has approximately
2,400 isolation valves within the distribution
service area ranging from 2 to 36 inches.
The purpose of these valves is primarily to
isolate small areas for routine maintenance or an emergency
repair.
We conduct a comprehensive valve program
of inspection, exercising, maintenance, and |

|
replacement of valves on a routine basis. This
program will help us avoid potentially serious problems when the
need to use a valve arises, especially in emergencies.
