Understanding Your Utility Services Bill
Customers of PW receive a statement every 28 - 32 days listing their charges for the previous billing period. This bill includes PW water service, but it is much more than a PW bill. As a convenience for our customers, your bill may include other charges where applicable:

a.Sewer service from the Joint Sewer Agency or JoAnn Estates Utilities, Inc. and
b.Solid waste service from the City of Paducah

These charges are collected and passed on to the appropriate agency. If these organizations were forced to add their own billing and collection departments, it would only duplicate efforts and increase everyone's costs.

Below is a sample Utility Services bill. You may obtain more information on any item by pointing to it.

This area highlights Paducah Water charges only. Remember your Utility Services bill includes not only Paducah Water charges. It may include charges for refuse collection, private sewer service, sales tax, and other charges where applicable.
When applicable, charges for the Paducah McCracken Joint Sewer Agency will appear in this space. If you are not served by the JSA, this box will not appear on your statement.
This side of the summary section details your usage information including your last meter reading date, your usage for the billing period, and the number of days in the current billing cycle All the current charges for this billing period are listed in a line item format making it easy to see charges for each service.
This informative graph highlights your usage for the last 13 months. Using this graph you can compare usage from month to month and to the same time last year.
The return payment stub includes all the above information as well as your customer information and payment due date. This is the best place to see the total amount due and due date.
