Our Distribution Department is located at
1800 North Eighth Street. The normal hours
of operation for our Distribution Department are between 7:00
a.m. and
3:30 p.m.
Under the direction of the Distribution
Superintendent, the main purpose and
function of this Department is delivery of

safe and pleasant water to homes, businesses, and industries for drinking, irrigation, fire protection, and other uses. Our objective is to provide and insure our customers with a dependable, low maintenance, top performance distribution system to all users 24-hours a day. The distribution system consists of a network of pipes, valves, fire hydrants, service lines, meters, and pumping stations covering a 110 square mile area. The staff and operators are proficient within their job classification, having met the certification requirements as required by the KY Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Cabinet, Division of Water.
